Job Overview

We are seeking a high-impact Data Analyst to support commercial and category management decision-making through advanced analytics. This role will partner closely with the Senior Analyst and cross-functional business stakeholders to drive insights across SKU expansion, inventory health, pricing optimization, and stocking strategy.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical analytics capabilities with business acumen, translating complex data into actionable insights that directly influence growth, profitability, and inventory efficiency.

Responsibilities

SKU Expansion & Portfolio AnalyticsAnalyze product portfolio gaps and identify SKU expansion opportunities across categories and regionsBuild models to evaluate SKU productivity, velocity, and whitespace opportunitiesSupport prioritization of new SKUs based on demand signals and commercial impact Inventory Health & DOH OptimizationDevelop and maintain inventory health models, including Days on Hand (DOH) trackingIdentify excess, obsolete, and understocked inventory and recommend corrective actionsSupport initiatives to optimize inventory turns while maintaining service levels Pricing & Inventory AnalyticsConduct pricing analyses to identify margin optimization and price elasticity opportunitiesSupport inventory rationalization and optimization decisions using data-driven approachesPartner with category and sales teams to evaluate pricing strategies across distributors and channels Reporting & Analytics ToolsDesign and maintain scalable monthly reporting dashboards and analytics tools (Power BI)Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and data consistencyEnsure data quality, integrity, and standardization across datasets Business PartneringCollaborate with category management, KAMs, product management, pricing and commercial teams to translate business needs into analytical solutionsPresent insights and recommendations in a clear, structured, and executive-ready formatSupport ongoing analytical requests tied to growth initiatives and operational performance

Candidate Desired Profile

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field2–5 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or commercial analyticsAdvanced proficiency in:SQLAdvanced Excel (including data modeling)Visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau)Proven experience working with large datasets and building structured analytical models

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy) or similar tools for data analysis and automationExperience in inventory planning, pricing, or commercial analyticsExposure to distributor/channel business models or product portfolio analytics

What Your Background Should Look Like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field or local equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible professional level experience
