Full job description

We're looking for a Backend Engineer with 8+ years of experience and great problem-solving skills to join our Rockstar Engineering team in developing a next-generation trading platform focused on low-latency APIs and scalable architecture.

Responsibilities:

Architect an ultra-low-latency order execution engine, where shaving microseconds creates real market advantage.

Design a Complex Event Processing (CEP) engine that evaluates thousands of live market conditions with deterministic, microsecond-level precision.

Build and operate our real-time feed system delivering 300K+ updates/sec over WebSockets, powering charts, scanners, and option chains with 5B+ messages daily.

Engineer large-scale analytics pipelines that transform millions of live and fundamental data points into AI-driven insights.

Design and manage resilient, multi-site infrastructure spanning AWS and co-located data centers, ensuring near-zero downtime and exactly-once reliability.

You'll primarily code in Golang or Rust, the core of our backend stack.

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on experience in Golang / Rust / Java backend systems.

Solid understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and network programming.

Proven track record in low-latency APIs and real-time distributed systems.

Familiarity with Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies.

Experience in trading systems or financial platforms is a strong plus.

A problem-solver's mindset and the drive to build systems that operate at scale and speed
