Full job description
We're looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong hands-on skills in Python and Django to join our core engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable, reliable backend systems and working closely with core backend technology.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Django.
Build and enhance RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF).
Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Debug and resolve production issues promptly.
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in Python.
Hands-on experience with the Django web framework.
Practical experience building APIs with Django REST Framework (DRF).
Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORM concepts.
Familiarity with REST API design principles and best practices.
