Automation Engineer

Role Overview: McAfee is looking for a skilled, motivated Automation Engineer with experience in AI and ITSM technologies, including Salesforce Agentforce, MuleSoft, Automation Anywhere, or similar platforms. You will design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and the user experience. This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop effective solutions, and support the successful implementation of agentic capabilities across ITSM technologies.

This is a Hybrid position based in Bangalore. You must be within a commutable distance from the location. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis; when not working onsite, you will work remotely from your home location. Position Details:

About The Role:

Responsible for leading ITSM and Automation Development activities, ensuring code quality, platform administration, and Agile delivery.

Review and validate requirements to ensure accurate estimation, timely execution, and alignment with business needs.

Collaborate with stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional teams during CST overlap hours to deliver solutions that support strategic objectives.

Design, develop, test, and implement ITSM/automation solutions, including workflows, forms, interfaces, and other customizations to enhance user experience.

Support QA, UAT, production releases, and issue resolution while ensuring compliance with project management standards and maintaining high deliverable quality.

About You:

You should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Science or related quantitative field and have 5-7 years of experience in ITSM, automation, and software development technologies.

You should be proficient in Scripting (JavaScript, Angular JS, HTML, CSS), Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Script Includes, ACLs, Client /Server Scripts, Workflows, REST API, SOQL, SOSL, AI and Agentic.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills are required to design, develop, test, and implement effective solutions.

In this role, you should be able to communicate, collaborate, and manage stakeholder across business and technology teams.

You should be able to perform root-cause analysis, manage projects, resolve medium-complexity issues, and deliver solutions using established project management methodologies.
