Qualcomm is hiring for the role of Associate Hardware Engineer.
Responsibilities of the Candidate:• Perform detailed technical analysis, translate ideas into hardware/software models, and collaborate across teams to deliver real-world products.• Work across cutting-edge domains such as Modem, Multimedia, Connectivity, Computer Vision, Image Processing, software implementation, and hardware acceleration.• Contribute to core subsystems within the SoC across SoC & Hard Macro Physical Design, SoC Validation & Debug, and Digital ASIC Design.• Support RF/Analog/Mixed Signal/Power IC Design, RF & Analog Layout, and Low Power Design implementations.• Engage in Board and FPGA Design, Design/SoC Verification, Design for Test (DFT), CPU Design, and CAD Solution Engineering.
Requirements:• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.• Eligible Batch: Graduating class of 2026 (Campus Hire).• Academic foundation in verifying SoC with embedded RISC/DSP processors and communications/networking ASICs.• Knowledge of Verilog or VHDL, C/C++, and scripting languages (Tcl, Perl, or Shell scripting).• Practical RTL design exposure and strong Object-Oriented programming concepts.• Understanding of wireless/wired communication protocols or graphics/multimedia systems is an advantage.• Exposure to PLL, LNA, OpAmp, CMOS, ADC/DAC, Cadence, or SpectreRF tools for RF/Analog/Mixed-Signal design tracks.• Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and cross-functional team collaboration skills.
