As an Associate in Category Management with 1.6-3.6 years of experience, your role will involve overseeing a specific category of products or services within the company. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, managing supplier relationships, optimizing product assortment, and driving category growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute category strategies to meet business objectives.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms.Optimize product assortment and inventory levels based on demand forecasts.Analyze sales data and performance metrics to make data-driven decisions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and operations to drive category success.Monitor and evaluate category performance, making adjustments as needed to achieve targets.Stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.Provide regular reporting and insights to management on category performance and initiatives.
