We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager - Traded Risk Market Data Management
In This Role, You Will
Identify repeatable Market Risk BAU activities and translate them into controlled AI-automation opportunities using Python, prompt engineering and structured outputs. Implement validation checks, exception handling, audit trails, logging and monitoring to ensure AI and risk-data processes are accurate, controlled and compliant. Consolidate Market Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk measures, support regulatory submissions and disclosures, and prepare Group-level risk management and FRTB materials. Validate, analyse and report stressed P&L, Market Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk results across scenarios; prepare governance packs, dashboards and senior management insights. Manage market data and scenario inputs used in VaR, Expected Shortfall and Stressed VaR calculations; monitor data quality, investigate exceptions and support remediation. Own front-to-back risk data, limit monitoring, risk calculations, controls and reporting across Equities, Credit, Rates, FX and Markets Treasury, including analysis of key risk metrics and drivers. Monitor counterparty exposure limits, assess the impact of market events, maintain accurate risk records and reporting, and collaborate with Front Office, Legal and Compliance teams. Maintain an effective global control framework, support RCAs, continuous monitoring, audits and issue management, while working collaboratively across teams, cultures and seniority levels to deliver accurate results under tight timelines.
To Be Successful You Will
Working proficiency in Python, including API integration, async programming, and data manipulation (pandas/numpy). Hands-on experience building agentic applications — this can come from personal projects, hackathons, internships, or professional work Practical exposure to at least one agent orchestration framework (LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel) or direct experience with the Claude/OpenAI/Gemini APIs including function calling and tool use. Understanding of prompt engineering fundamentals: system prompts, chain-of-thought/structured reasoning prompts, few-shot examples, output formatting (JSON schemas, XML tags). Professional certification like FRM / CFA /CQF can be an added advantage. Experience with vendor market data systems such as Refinitiv (Reuters) and Bloomberg, along with working knowledge of tools including JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint. A degree / qualification in Finance, Engineering, Business Management or previous experience in Risk Management (Market Risk) or quantitative courses Strong foundation in risk management principles, risk measures such as PVBP and VaR, and related systems, with a high level of competency in producing, processing, analysing and interpreting traded-risk reports.
