Job Summary:
Responsible for managing end-to-end global tax compliance, transfer pricing, indirect tax, direct tax, VAT compliance, regulatory filings, and audit support across multiple jurisdictions within the TerraPay Group. The role involves ensuring compliance with Indian and international tax laws, supporting cross-border transactions, coordinating with external advisors, and mitigating tax risks through effective tax governance and documentation.
Requirements:
Transfer PricingPerform transfer pricing computations and pass related entries in accordance with group policy and OECD guidelines. Support intercompany transactions through transfer pricing analysis and arm's length documentation. Assist in transfer pricing assessments, audits, and notices by preparing supporting documentation and responding to queries. Indirect Tax (GST)Preparation and filing GST returns including GSTR-1, E-invoicing GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C. Manage GST compliance activities and ensure adherence to statutory timelines. Prepare and file GST refund applications and coordinate with tax authorities for realization of refunds. Handle GST audits, departmental assessments and reconciliations. Draft and submit responses to GST notices, scrutiny proceedings and audit observations. International VAT ComplianceCoordinate VAT compliance activities for overseas entities including the UK, Netherlands and Italy. Compile transactional data and liaise with external VAT consultants for return preparation. Review VAT returns for accuracy and compliance with local regulations. Monitor Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) applicability and other indirect tax requirements. Manage e-invoicing compliance wherever applicable and statutory filings. Direct Tax ComplianceSupport preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns across group entities. Manage TDS compliance of India including deduction, payment and return filings. Assist in advance tax computations and payments Support tax audits, assessments and responses to tax authority notices. Maintain tax records and documentation to ensure smooth completion of compliance activities. Audit & Regulatory ComplianceCoordinate with statutory auditors, tax auditors and consultants for completion of audits. Prepare schedules, reconciliations and supporting documents required during audits. Support group-level audit requirements and consolidation-related tax matters. Ensure timely closure of audit observations and compliance issues. STPI CompliancePrepare and file STPI compliances including: Softex Forms Monthly Progress Reports (MPR) Annual Performance Reports (APR) Coordinate with STPI authorities and address compliance-related queries. Ensure adherence to export reporting requirements and applicable STPI regulations.

Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in taxation, including direct tax, indirect tax, GST/VAT, and regulatory complianceStrong understanding of tax laws, return filings, audits, transfer pricing fundamentals, and tax compliance processes in a corporate environment
