Its presence spans the length and breadth of India, providing opportunities to work in a dynamic, high-growth environment with a strong brand legacy.Role Description The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration within an assigned territory. This role involves managing and developing a network of channels and partners, monitoring sales performance, and implementing strategies to achieve targets. The Area Sales Manager will conduct regular market visits, identify new business opportunities, and ensure effective execution of sales campaigns and promotional activities. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide guidance and support to field sales staff, track competitor activity, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role also includes preparing periodic sales reports, forecasting, and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.Qualifications Proven experience in area or regional sales management, preferably in financial services, NBFCs, banking, or related sectors.Strong skills in sales planning, territory management, and channel development, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.Competence in client relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement to build and sustain long-term business partnerships.Analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency with MS Excel, CRM tools, and basic sales forecasting and performance tracking.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, travel within the assigned territory, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.Knowledge of local market dynamics and customer behavior in Bengaluru and surrounding regions is beneficial.
