We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Software Quality Assurance Apprentice to join our engineering team. This opportunity is designed for individuals who are passionate about software quality and eager to build a career in software testing and test automation. As an apprentice, you will work closely with experienced engineers to learn modern testing practices, contribute to product quality initiatives, and gain hands-on experience with automation frameworks and agile development processes.
What You Will Do
Assist in the creation, execution, and maintenance of manual and automated test cases.Learn and support test automation activities using modern automation tools, preferably Playwright.Participate in functional, regression, integration, and system testing activities.Identify, document, and track software defects through the defect lifecycle.Collaborate with developers, testers, and product teams to ensure high-quality software releases.Support the validation of new features and defect fixes.Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.Basic understanding of software testing concepts such as:Test casesTest executionDefect tracking and defect lifecycleExposure to or willingness to learn test automation tools, preferably Playwright.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.Exposure to web applications and software development lifecycle concepts.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
