Purpose & Scope
In the role of Technical Analyst - Oracle Xstore, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Key Responsibilities
Elicit, analyze, validate, and manage technical requirements definition, flows and deliverables for projects. Perform this by working with Retail IT Team to understand work effort requirements and then translate into IT actionable tasks. Working closely with the IT team, internal and external, to deliver solution design documents and requirements. Partner closely with various technical teams supporting data movement, application development and testing. Diligently support and lead where needed various activities between the teams to ensure the technical requirements and objectives are met. Ensure appropriate project documentation is compiled and proper review and approvals from respective teams as gathered and collated.Contribute to the overall system(s) design. Evaluate current processes and procedures to ensure relevance and accuracy. Make recommendations for changes and keep documentation current.Perform as the subject matter expert for POS and the various retail systems and processes assigned. Inclusive of this is gathering a deep understanding of the data within the systems and business processes supported by the system(s).Build critical working relationships with the Global Retail IT and Vendors through gathering a thorough understanding of the business models and processes employed.Researching Xstore issues and providing options that will lead to solutionsWork with the development team on agreed-upon solutionsAssist testing team to troubleshoot issues during the testing phaseExperience in Xstore POS implementationExperience in design and development of Java/J2EE based applications/components in general would be an added advantageCarry out daily, weekly or monthly data set up tasks within Relate to support the Retail stores and their use of the Customer data. Perform as the subject matter expert for Relate and the various retail systems and processes assigned. Inclusive of this is gathering a deep understanding of the data within the systems and business processes supported by the system(s).

Skills/Qualifications/Professional Experience
5 + years of Retail store systems information technology experienceAt least 5 years of experience with Information Technology.At least 5 years of experience in software development life cycle preferable in Point of Sales domain and experience in implementing Oracle Xstore and/or Oracle Point of Sales.At least 4 years of experience in Requirements Gathering, Impact Analysis, Conducting Workshops, Solution Design and Project Coordination for POS or Xstore implementations or upgradesRegular direct communication with customers and partners, as well as coordinating internal efforts with our business development leads and engineering teams Ability to work with POS related systems such as traffic counters, fitting room applications, RFID, etc.Knowledge of Oracle POS a plus which includes Polling, Sales Audit, Scripting, Loss Prevention systems.Knowledge of Cloud based technology like Azure and AWS is a plus.Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skillsAbility to work effectively within a teamMust have the ability to work under pressure with time sensitive constraints.Excellent verbal and written communication skills
