Summary

We are looking for an emerging talent operational manager who wants to drive forward our award-winning emerging talent programmes at Rolls-Royce. This role will be responsible for the operational delivery of emerging talent in APAC partnering our businesses and outsourced providers to deliver a ‘One Rolls-Royce’ end to end service. You will be responsible for the recruitment of circa 80+ hires (interns and graduates) and coordination of their programme delivery across APAC (primary focus Singapore, India, China). This role leads the delivery of emerging talent programmes across APAC ensuring alignment to global strategy while adapting to regional market needs

This role reports into Head of People Services Operations, India with dotted reporting line into Global Head of Emerging Talent.

What You Will Be Doing

Accountable for executing our emerging talent recruitment process, onboarding, programme delivery & offboarding for your region. Regional responsibility for the relationship with the emerging talent suppliers including demand planning, delivery against regional contract of services, risk & compliance, governance, commerciality & ROI, improvements and key performance to ensure business need are met and user experience optimised Regional management of any emerging talent training providers including local universities or apprenticeship trainers. Responsible for partnering with business stakeholders on the execution of our emerging talent programmes including managing operational governance framework, local country management of processes & legislation, compliant hiring process, effective people data Own the relationship between Rolls-Royce and regional schools (age 14+), colleges and universities including collaboration with our internal and external partners to support STEM activities that contribute to future emerging talents talent growth. Understand and contribute to the effective delivery of emerging talent attraction strategy within region including award partnerships, pipeline programmes and diversity partnerships Partner with our global design team to take from strategy to implementation critical processes including recruitment, onboarding, induction and keep warm Oversight of the delivery of centralise emerging talent learning and mandatory training programmes Own the process guiding our people partners in the offboarding approach for graduates and interns within region Identify areas for improvement and in partnership with the wider emerging talent team implement changes to optimize the overall experience Quality assurance of graduate, apprentice and intern gigs, escalations, and day to day programme management Ensure the effective delivery of the graduate and intern placements, escalations, and day to day programme management in partnership with local people teams Establish and be responsible for the APAC operational emerging talent governance board including data management and reporting Ensure compliance with local labour laws, regulations, and internal policies. Actively promote diversity and inclusion initiatives with our emerging talent processes - ensuring all activity is aligned to the Diversity and Inclusion strategy and is woven into delivery plans.

Who We’re Looking For

Experience and a strong understanding of emerging talent delivery, frameworks, processes & policies Vendor management skills, with the ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with recruitment suppliers/vendors. Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and process improvements. Shown success in delivering successful projects within HR, Talent or Learning Commitment to delivering the best customer experience Proven capability in Stakeholder Management at all levels of the organisation. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and engage with a range of different stakeholders Extensive matrix-working experience; ability to partner internally & with 3rd parties to enable operational delivery against strategy Understanding of employment laws, regulations, and local HR practises A passion for emerging talent, talent and learning
