Full job description

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deliver scalable Android features from concept to production.

Build high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

Implement scalable application architecture using MVVM and Clean Architecture.

Develop asynchronous and reactive applications using Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and StateFlow.

Integrate backend services and APIs using REST, Retrofit, and OkHttp.

Work with Android Jetpack components, including ViewModel, Room, Navigation, WorkManager, and Paging 3

Implement dependency injection using Hilt/Dagger.

Optimize application performance, memory usage, startup time, rendering, battery consumption, and network efficiency.

Write unit and UI tests using JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, and Turbine.

Monitor production applications using Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics.

Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality and maintainability.

Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and other engineering teams.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.

Requirements:

3-6 years of professional Android development experience.

Strong expertise in Kotlin.

Good working knowledge of Java.

Strong understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio.

Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.

Strong experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and StateFlow.

Experience with MVVM and clean architecture.

Hands-on experience with Hilt / Dagger 2

Strong experience with Retrofit and OkHttp.

Experience with Room Database.

Good understanding of Android Jetpack components.

Experience integrating REST APIs.

Strong knowledge of Android performance optimization.

Experience with JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito.

Experience with Firebase Crashlytics / Analytics.

Strong understanding of Gradle and Git.

Experience building and shipping consumer-facing Android applications at scale.
