Job Description
We're looking for a Senior HR Data Analyst to join our Human Resources team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will leverage data-driven insights to support strategic HR decision-making and drive organizational effectiveness. You will work closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze workforce trends, optimize HR processes, and provide actionable recommendations that enhance our talent management and organizational performance.
Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive HR dashboards and reports using advanced data visualization tools to track key HR metrics and workforce analyticsConduct in-depth statistical analysis of HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to recruitment, retention, compensation, performance, and employee engagementDevelop and implement HR data models and analytical frameworks to support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management initiativesCollaborate with HR business partners to define data requirements, translate business questions into analytical solutions, and deliver actionable insightsEnsure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance by establishing data governance protocols and conducting regular data quality auditsCreate and present executive-level reports and presentations that communicate complex data findings in a clear and compelling mannerAnalyze recruitment metrics, hiring funnel performance, and time-to-fill data to optimize talent acquisition processesSupport compensation and benefits analysis, including salary benchmarking, equity analysis, and benefits utilization studiesIdentify opportunities for process improvement and automation within HR operations using data-driven recommendationsStay current with HR analytics best practices, emerging tools, and industry trends to continuously enhance analytical capabilities
Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in HR analytics, data analysis, or related analytical rolesAdvanced proficiency in SQL for querying, manipulating, and analyzing large datasetsExpert-level skills in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platformsStrong expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data modelingDemonstrated experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and HR analytics platformsSolid understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and quantitative research methodologiesExposure to AI / ML and Data Science – e.g., hands-on experience in building and deploying AI/ML models (APIs, basic MLOps) and applying data science techniques (data cleaning, EDA, predictive modeling, dashboards) to solve business problemIn-depth knowledge of HR processes, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) across recruitment, retention, compensation, and employee developmentExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insightsStrong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyProficiency in data governance, data security, and compliance standardsPreferred: Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages for advanced data analysisPreferred: Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms and toolsPreferred: Knowledge of predictive analytics and machine learning applications in HRPreferred: Experience with enterprise HR systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar platformsPreferred: Domain expertise in talent management, workforce planning, compensation analysis, or organizational development
