Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled AEM Full stack Developer to design, develop, and optimize backend solutions for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)-based applications and implement engaging user interfaces for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)-based web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, python,OSGi, Sling, JCR, and AEM workflows for Backend and modern frontend frameworks, AEM-specific templating (Sightly/HTL), and strong UI/UX principles for front end, enabling seamless content management and efficient system performance. You will collaborate closely with architects, and content authors to build scalable, high-performance solutions designers and product teams to build high-performance, responsive, and visually appealing digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

AEM Backend DevelopmentDevelop custom AEM components, templates, services, and workflows using Java, python, OSGi, and Apache Sling.Design and implement AEM Content Repository (JCR) structures for efficient content storage and retrieval.Build and extend AEM servlets, filters, event listeners, and schedulers to enhance platform functionality.Implement AEM Workflows, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and Content Services for structured content delivery.Optimize AEM Dispatcher rules and caching mechanisms to improve system performance.

Integration & API Development

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party services with AEM.Work on headless AEM implementations, ensuring seamless data exchange with frontend applications.Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including SSO, OAuth, and LDAP integrations.Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud deployments.caching, and minimizing render-blocking resources.Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to SEO best practices.Improve page load speeds and Core Web Vitals for better user engagement.

Performance Optimization & Security

Optimize AEM query performance using JCR queries (XPath, SQL2) and indexing.Enhance system scalability and reliability by fine-tuning backend services.Implement security best practices, including user access control, content authorization, and secure API development.Monitor and resolve memory leaks, concurrency issues, and system bottlenecks.

Frontend Development for AEM

Develop and customize AEM components, templates, and client-side applications using react/Angular Sightly/HTL, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.Ensure seamless integration of AEM components with backend services and APIs.Implement mobile-first, responsive, and accessible designs with a focus on performance optimization.Work with AEM Core Components, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and Headless CMS capabilities.

UI/UX Implementation

Translate design mockups (Figma) into high-quality, pixel-perfect UI components.Implement angular and modern CSS methodologies (BEM, Tailwind, CSS-in-JS).Enhance user experience (UX) by improving site navigation, animations, and interactivity.

Performance & Optimization

Optimize AEM frontend performance, including lazy loading, asset bundling, caching, and minimizing render -blocking resources.

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to SEO best practices.Improve page load speeds and Core Web Vitals for better user engagement.

AEM-Specific Integrations

Implement Client Libraries (clientlibs), JavaScript Use API, and CSS/JS optimizations for AEM projects.Integrate AEM with third-party APIs, analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), and personalization solutions.Work with AEM Dispatcher rules to optimize content delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Full Stack Development & AEM Expertise5+ years of experience in AEM Full stack development with Java, python, OSGi, Apache Sling and React/ AEM.Proficiency in JCR (Java Content Repository), Oak, and AEM DAM (Digital Asset Management).Experience in developing AEM servlets, event listeners, and Sling models.Strong knowledge of AEM Dispatcher configuration and caching strategies.
