Role Description The Facade Estimation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for façade works, including materials, labor, and installation, based on architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents. The engineer will review and interpret façade designs, coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams, and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to develop accurate budgets. Daily tasks include quantity take-offs, rate analysis, value engineering proposals, and support for bids and contracts, ensuring façade solutions meet technical, aesthetic, and financial requirements. The role also involves tracking market prices, updating cost databases, and contributing to continuous improvement in façade estimation processes and standards.

QualificationsStrong façade engineering and construction knowledge, including understanding of façade systems, materials, installation methods, and building codes.Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and façade drawings, with experience in quantity take-offs and cost estimation.Experience with estimation tools and spreadsheets, and ability to perform rate analysis and prepare detailed BOQs and cost breakdowns.Good collaboration and communication skills for working with design, procurement, site teams, and external vendors or subcontractors.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline; prior experience in façade estimation or façade contracting is highly desirable.Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.Knowledge of safety standards, quality control practices, and industry trends related to façade technologies is an advantage.
