Job Purpose:

The Organizational Culture Assurance Analyst develops A&A’s behavioral and risk analytics capability, delivering data-driven insights that strengthen assurance planning, audit execution and enterprise risk oversight.

The role acts as the technical and analytical lead for Organizational Culture Assurance and wider A&A analytics initiatives, combining expertise in data analytics, visualization, behavioral indicators, organizational data and emerging AI-enabled analytical approaches.

Working across A&A, Human Resources, Compliance, Risk Management and business leadership teams, the role develops analytical products that identify organizational conditions, behavioral patterns and emerging risks which may impact business performance, governance effectiveness and risk management outcomes.

The role plays a central part in delivering A&A's Organizational Culture Assurance model through:

Development of organizational Culture dashboards to support audit teams.

Creation of enterprise behavioral and risk intelligence products for senior leadership and governance forums.

Advanced analytics supporting targeted organizational culture assurance & Insights reviews.

Integration of data-driven behavioral insights into assurance planning, testing and reporting.

The role serves as a center of excellence for behavioral and assurance analytics and helps position A&A as a leading-edge assurance function that combines traditional audit techniques with advanced analytics and organizational insight.

The role acts as the technical owner for organizational cultural analytics, dashboard architecture, culture and behavioral risk indicators and analytical methodologies used by the Organizational Culture Assurance team and wider A&A function.

Key responsibilities:

Behavioral and Culture Analytics

Develop analytical models to identify behavioral patterns, cultural indicators and emerging organizational risks.

Analyze large and complex datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, anomalies and relationships relevant to governance, risk management and organizational effectiveness.

Interpret behavioral indicators associated with accountability, leadership effectiveness, collaboration, decision-making, challenge, escalation and psychological safety.

Support development of methodologies that enable objective assessment of organizational behaviors.

Dashboard Development and Reporting

Design, build and maintain a suite of behavioral and risk dashboards for A&A, leadership teams, RMCBs, ExCom and the ARC.

Develop leading and lagging indicators that provide visibility of organizational and behavioral risk.

Ensure dashboards are intuitive, evidence-based and aligned to strategic and enterprise risk priorities.

Continuously enhance reporting capabilities through automation, visualization and advanced analytics techniques.

Audit Enablement

Develop analytical products to support risk assessment, audit planning and assurance prioritization.

Develop organizational Culture indicators relevant to key audit themes and enterprise risks.

Provide specialist analytical support for complex or high-risk audit engagements.

Support identification of audit targets and trigger points for dedicated Organizational Culture Assurance reviews.

Data Integration and Insight Generation

Consolidate information from diverse data sources to develop enterprise-level insights.

Analyze trends from workforce data, employee engagement surveys, speak-up reporting, compliance indicators, safety data, organizational structures, attrition metrics, performance measures and other relevant information sources.

Identify themes that may signal emerging organizational vulnerabilities or opportunities.

Translate analytical outputs into practical insights that support executive decision-making.

Develop and maintain culture and behavioral risk models, trend analyses and predictive indicators that support identification of emerging organizational risks.

Design and maintain data pipelines and analytical processes that consolidate information from multiple enterprise systems into consistent assurance products.

Establish controls and quality assurance processes for behavioral and risk analytics outputs.

AI and Innovation

Develop AI-assisted analytical techniques to identify behavioral patterns, cultural themes and potential risk indicators across large and complex datasets.

Evaluate emerging analytical technologies and assess opportunities to improve assurance coverage, efficiency and effectiveness.

Identify opportunities to improve assurance effectiveness through automation and advanced analytics.

Monitor emerging developments in analytics, data science and assurance technology.

Promote the responsible and effective use of analytics across A&A.

Capability Development

Support development of analytical capability across A&A.

Support auditors and Organisational Culture Assurance Managers in using analytical tools and interpreting behavioral indicators.

Establish analytical standards, controls and good practices.

Contribute to continuous improvement of A&A methodologies and assurance strategies

Skills & Experience

Significant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, audit analytics, people analytics, risk analytics or related disciplines.

Strong capability in analysing large and complex datasets and translating findings into actionable insights.

10 to 15yrs of experience in audit and assurance.

Experience designing dashboards, visualisations and executive reporting products.

Experience using modern business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau or equivalent.

Experience establishing analytics governance, controls and quality standards.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking capability.

Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to explain complex findings to non-technical audiences.

Experience working within risk, assurance, audit, compliance, HR analytics or related environments.

Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor's degree in analytics, data science, statistics, mathematics, business, psychology, economics, information systems or a related discipline.

Preferred skills:

Experience applying analytics within Internal Audit, Risk Management or Compliance functions.

Experience working with organisational health, workforce, engagement or behavioural datasets.

Knowledge of behavioural science, organisational psychology or organisational effectiveness frameworks.

Experience applying machine learning or AI-enabled analytical techniques.

Professional qualifications in analytics, audit or risk management.

Experience supporting Board, Executive Committee or senior governance reporting.
