YOUR ROLE
As a Technical Lead Electrical Simulation and Analysis Engineering, you will play a key role in guiding Aptiv’s automotive OEM customers toward best-in-class electronic system performance. You will perform advanced high‑speed simulations, virtual validation, and worst‑case circuit analyses using industry-standard tools such as HyperLynx and Ansys. Your work will directly influence the reliability, safety, and performance of next‑generation automotive electronics.
You will apply strong electronics, semiconductor physics, and analytical skills to perform circuit analysis, simulation, modeling, and report generation supporting high-speed interfaces and board‑level electronic design.
Responsibilities
Perform high‑speed SI/PI simulations using HyperLynx and Ansys toolsExecute PCB/board‑level and full 3D EM simulations for system validationCreate detailed simulation reports, analyses, and recommendationsDevelop component and circuit simulation models (IBIS, SPICE, Touchstone)Collaborate with cross‑functional and global engineering teams
YOUR BACKGROUND
6–10 years of experience in Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, and high‑speed PCB simulationHands-on expertise with HyperLynx (SI/PI), Ansys Electronics Desktop, SIwave, or HFSSExperience with high‑speed interfaces such as LPDDR4/5, PCIe Gen3+, CSI‑2, OSPI, QSPIKnowledge of simulation models including IBIS, SPICE, and S‑parametersUnderstanding of EMI/EMC fundamentals; prior automotive domain experience is an advantage
