Specialist Technical Writer

Are you passionate about turning complex engineering concepts into clear, customer-friendly documentation? We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Documentation Specialist to create, maintain, and publish high-quality technical content, including datasheets, user manuals, application notes, process guidelines, and customer instructions. This role partners closely with engineering Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to transform technical information into accurate, professional, and publication-ready documentation while ensuring adherence to documentation standards, style guides, and structured authoring principles.

Key responsibilities in your new role

Create and maintain technical customer documentation, such as datasheets, user manuals, application notes, process guidelines, and customer instructionsSupport Subject Matter Experts (engineers) in transforming technical information into clear, accurate, and publication-ready documentationExecute technical documentation activities using established templates, standards, and workflowsEnsure the quality, consistency, formatting, and linguistic accuracy of technical documentation before publicationApply and maintain technical documentation standards, terminology, style guides, and structured authoring principlesSupport the review, approval, publication, and maintenance of technical documents throughout the product lifecycleIdentify and flag content issues, inconsistencies, missing information, and deviations from documentation standardsCollaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of documentation

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

A professional education in technical communication or a degree in engineering, computer science, natural sciences, or a similar fieldAlready been experienced in technical writing, technical communication, or documentation activitiesA structured, precise, and quality-oriented way of workingThe ability to understand and communicate complex technical information clearly and effectivelyStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyA collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with engineers and other stakeholders in an international environmentFamiliarity with documentation tools, content management systems, or structured authoring methodologies Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-oriented mindsetVery high professional proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plusExperience with XML-based authoring environments, ideally DITA XML is a plusKnowledge of AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs)and AI-assisted content creation tools, is a plusA strong interest in digitalization, automation, and modern documentation technologies is a plusThis role is ideal for candidates who enjoy combining technical understanding, structured information management, and clear communication to support the creation of high-quality technical documentation.
