Join our team as an ASIC Prototyping Engineer where your expertise in FPGAs, RTL design and prototyping will drive pre-silicon prototyping and validation of complex SoCs. In this role you will emulate cutting-edge SoC designs on FPGA prototyping platforms and Emulation platforms

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to verify, prototype, validate, and debug complex SoC designs while supporting multiple software development teams.Define and establish FPGA prototyping environments, and drive board-level hardware development to enable comprehensive pre-silicon validation.Port ASIC RTL designs onto industry-leading prototyping and emulation platforms, including Synopsys HAPS, S2C FPGA platforms, Synopsys ZeBu, and Cadence Palladium.Perform FPGA synthesis, place-and-route (PnR), timing closure, and detailed timing analysis to ensure optimal design performance.Develop FPGA-friendly prototyping models for analog blocks and hard IPs, including clock tree simplification to facilitate efficient implementation and validation.

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electronics, VLSI Design, or a related field with 12+ years of relevant industry experience, or Master's degree (M.E./M.Tech) with 10+ years of relevant experience.Strong expertise in FPGA design methodologies, RTL development, and associated design tools, flows, and processes.Proven hands-on experience in FPGA-based ASIC prototyping, including Synopsys HAPS platforms and related toolchains.Practical experience working with industry-leading emulation platforms such as Synopsys ZeBu and Cadence Palladium.Solid understanding of ASIC design flow, Design Verification (DV) methodologies, SoC architecture, and complex system-level debugging.Advanced proficiency in hardware description languages, including Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL.Strong scripting and programming skills with the ability to develop automation solutions and improve design productivity.
