Role Summary:

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will need to handle strategic projects orders working with internal and external stakeholders to complete execution from Order Receipt to Cash. You’ll also coordinate the daily local order fulfillment activities on assigned projects. Additional responsibilities include documentation management, frequent and timely customer communications and coordinating for operations support.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Responsible for project management & execution of multiple jobs pertaining to various customersInitiate and attend the customer/internal meetings to minimize the communication lead-timeReview of the customer contract and do the order entry in ERP systemCoordinate with Engineering team to get the Bills of Materials and obtain drawing approvals from the customerManage the documentation activities needed for the project executionWork with planning to get periodic updates on manufacturing schedules and update customerLaise with Quality Control division on the QA requirements and get the required documentation on time.Review the complete technical documentation package to validate product details against customer requirements and raise the flag in case of discrepanciesCoordinate the inspection activities between customer and QAWork with customer to get the documentation needed for release the valve for shipmentBe aware of the logistic requirements and coordinate with customersCollaborate with the internal departments to ensure that the product is delivered to the customer on time as per the agreed terms & conditionsInform Finance Team to ensure the invoice of payments are raised at various milestonesOther duties as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programsIndustrial experience in Project Management, preferably on control valves fieldUnderstanding of Project documentation and hands on experience on thatEffective verbal and written communicationsAble to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of employees, customers, and business groups globallyCollaborative team player and self-starter capable of working under very minimal supervisionKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes are a plusBE or B-Tech Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Industrial Engg or equivalent streams and 7-9 years relevant experience
