Salesforce Technical Architect - Bangalore

Johnson Controls is looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect in Bangalore to design scalable, secure Salesforce solutions and guide technical delivery across the platform.

Role Overview

In this role, you will own the technical architecture for complex Salesforce initiatives, translating business needs into practical, well-designed solutions. You will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to shape integrations, data design, security, and deployment practices that support long-term platform success.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of scalable Salesforce solutions for complex business requirements.Translate business needs into well-architected technical solutions aligned to strategic goals.Mentor Salesforce tech leads, developers, data analysts, and integration developers.Conduct technical design reviews and code reviews to support quality and maintainability.Architect integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.Define the system architecture landscape, identify gaps, and deliver end-to-end solutions.Implement platform security best practices for authentication, data sharing, and encryption.Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Change Management teams for deployments and performance.

Own outcomes with accountability, security, and integrity, while making sound technical decisions that stand up to enterprise use.Stay close to the work, remove blockers early, and keep the focus on solutions that matter for the customer.Use candor, root-cause thinking, and continuous improvement to strengthen the platform over time.Win as one team by collaborating with developers, QA, DevOps, change management, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.10-12 years of experience with Salesforce platform architecture and development across multiple cloud platforms.Strong understanding of scalable, performance-driven solutions and design patterns for large data volumes.Deep knowledge of data modeling, governance, and management within Salesforce.Experience architecting integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.Experience with authentication and authorization, including SSO.Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation tools.Experience leading technical teams.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Fluent in English.

Nice to Have

Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Service Cloud experience.Active Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect.
