Responsibilities

The Intern-GOSO will report to the GOSO – Associate Director and will work with a team to provide critical capabilities for Eli Lilly & Company’s sales forces. These capabilities may include sales force sizing and structure, territory alignment design and maintenance , field call planning support, Incentives, Dynamic Targeting & Insights, Data Strategy and Operations and other strategic/cyclical projects.

Data Management

Key accountabilities will include the following:

Automate excel-based operations to SQL/Python/Databricks for improving processing turn-around time, and set-up quality assurance proceduresProcess data on AWS, Databricks etc. sourced from varied data sources following the standard operating procedure documentsUnderstand the current data architecture within GOSO and deliver ad-hoc data pulls and low/medium complexity analysisValidate data quality and accuracy of the results of existing & new processesCollate information and maintain field dashboards covering various business centric KPIs.Work on technology to create data & ETL pipelines. Further maintain & improve these data processes.Contribute on AI strategy by working on metadata, data products & contracts, semantic infrastructure & AI readiness Create and maintain robust documentation & SOPs.

Standardize and own capability-focused activities Have foundational experience in setting up project management software, leadership dashboard and good practicesProcess maps creation and update working in collaboration with existing team membersProject artefacts and data/files storage-location standardizationSolve interesting business problems through cutting edge techniques such as AI Tools & AgentificationLeverage knowledge of statistics and ML to generate predictive models to generate actionable insightsInteract with multiple teams & present to key business stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

Essential Skills

Experience in writing code (e.g. SQL, VBA, Python, AI Tools)Should understand sales planning processes for sales forceStrong learning agilityStrong analytical mindsetExcellent communication (written & verbal)Prioritization skillsStrong attention to detailHigh level of motivation and a strong desire to find creative solutions to challenging situationsGood focus on detail, accuracy, and ability to solve problems through analytical reasoningExperience in business analysis
