Key responsibilities in your new role

Workforce strategy execution and contributionMulti-site team management - Conducting regular 1:1 with team members, Stakeholder connect and managementOwn the performance and career building aspects of teamMotivate people by recognizing and acknowledging top performer periodically within the team and in organizational eventsDevelop competency in team to cater present and future program requirements as aligned with business strategyEnable an environment to nurture healthy team camaraderiePipeline balancing of team members as per the product roadmapAssignment of team members to the projectsDrive innovation and continuous improvement activitiesEvaluation of suppliers, partners and their managementCollect inputs from projects and preparing the list of Capex itemsCoordinate with internal teams for asset managementForecast and track travel costsLearning and Development plans in accordance with roadmap demandClosely work with Functional Manager, Program Managers & Project ManagersBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders with focus on trust-based associationsImbibe and adopt Infineon Leadership PrinciplesStrong leadership traits to handle conflict, negotiations and fair evaluationsCompliance and Security mandate awareness for team, department and siteWork with management on strategic objectives and drive key initiativesEscalate issues, with appropriate data, to management as requiredDemonstrate team leadership and motivate the team on innovation topicsStrive for continuous improvement and delivery excellenceEngaging with other line managers across the organization to share and learnActively participate in site level and department level initiatives

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

15+ years of relevant experience in Java Card / Global Platform Product Development & Verification preferably smartcards domain with several years in a People/Engineering Management roleB.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MS in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/InstrumentationExperience in managing team of size 20+ team membersExperience in working with functions (Quality, HR, etc) across the organizationEmbedded system software development/validation in Java Card, preferably in product developmentMust have working knowledge of various development tools used in embedded SW developmentShould be able to coordinate among stakeholders across sites at various levels and communicate operational gaps and risks effectivelyExcellent communication skills.Strong leadership qualities, great team-player in a multi-site, multi-cultural R&D environmentExperience in managing/driving innovation and continuous improvementsExperience in improving efficiency and output of the team or organization
