About The Department

The Operations GBS unit will drive executional excellence and efficiency by focusing on all operations-related activities, including execution of marketed brands, operations of medical affairs, omnichannel operations, commercial analytics, operational communications, customer fulfilment within commercial supply chain and sustainability.

You will be anchored in International Marketing & Commercial Operations GBS in Bangalore, within the IO Cardiometabolic Marketing team. We are the commercial engine helping shape and activate brand strategies across the cardiometabolic portfolio, partnering with IO marketing teams, regions, affiliates and cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into launch-ready plans, impactful customer engagement and execution that moves at the speed of our ambition.

The position

As an Associate Project Lead, you will support the planning, governance, and execution of strategic product launches across International Operations markets. You will work closely with global and regional stakeholders to drive launch readiness, enhance launch capabilities, and ensure alignment across commercial, regulatory, supply chain, medical, and pricing functions.

You will also contribute to the continuous development and governance of launch planning processes and digital solutions that support launch excellence across Novo Nordisk.

Day-to-day Your Tasks Will Include

Driving launch planning, execution, and readiness activities for strategic product launches across International Operations markets.Supporting launch governance forums, cross-functional launch teams, and launch acceleration initiatives.Facilitating stakeholder alignment and identifying risks, dependencies, and oppor-tunities to accelerate launches.Supporting the development, implementation, and governance of launch planning frameworks and processes.Contributing to the development and optimization of launch planning tools and systems.Coordinating launch data, timelines, and reporting while ensuring compliance with governance requirements.Developing dashboards, performance reports, and insights to support informed decision-making.Delivering training programs, onboarding sessions, and capability-building initia-tives for affiliates and stakeholders.Managing strategic projects, preparing leadership presentations, and supporting governance and review meetings.Driving continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen launch excellence and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.6 to 8 years of experience in project management, commercial operations, mar-keting, launch excellence, healthcare consulting, pharmaceutical market research, or related functions.Experience working within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other business reporting tools.Strong communication and presentation skills with experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting product launches, portfolio management, or go-to-market initiatives.Familiarity with launch planning processes, governance frameworks, and digital planning platforms.Exposure to global or regional pharmaceutical operations.Experience managing multiple workstreams across diverse stakeholder groups in a matrix organization
