The Senior SAP Developer (Associate Manager) brings over 10 years of hands-on SAP development experience and is accountable for end-to-end technical delivery across both ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.

Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and functional leads to understand requirements, prioritize the development backlog, and manage team capacity.

Uphold Development Factory standards: reusable patterns, coding guidelines, peer review gates, and clean-core compliance.

·       Procure to Pay (PTP): Requisitioning, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification, Accounts Payable, Ariba integration.

·       Plan to Manufacture (PTM): Production Planning, MRP, Process Orders, Batch Management, Quality integration.

·       Logistics Execution (LE): Warehouse Management, Shipping, Transportation, Delivery Processing.

Ensure all solutions comply with SAP clean-core principles, minimizing custom code footprint and leveraging BTP/extension side-car patterns where applicable.

Apply deep knowledge of SAP table structures, IDocs, BAdIs, Business Events, and enhancement frameworks.

Integration & Customization

Collaborate with integration architects and middleware teams (e.g., Solace, Azure Integration Services) to ensure seamless connectivity between SAP and non-SAP systems.

Design and govern API-based integrations aligned with the enterprise integration strategy.

Customize SAP S/4HANA and ECC functionalities to meet specific business requirements while safeguarding upgradeability.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Oversee the full testing lifecycle for owned technical objects: unit testing, SIT, regression, and UAT support.

Partner with QA and Test Factory teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, early defect detection, and timely resolution.

Enforce peer code review standards and validate adherence to development best practices prior to transport promotion.

Documentation & Governance

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all WRICEF objects, integration specifications, and architectural decisions.

Ensure traceability between business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs.

Support audit readiness and compliance requirements through accurate and current documentation.

WHO YOU ARE

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (required).

10+ years of SAP development experience, with demonstrated delivery across at least three of the following: RTR, OTC, PTP, PTM, LE.

Proven experience in both SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments, including greenfield and brownfield transformation projects.

Technical Skills

Expert-level ABAP programming including OO ABAP, ALV, SmartForms/Adobe Forms, BAPIs, BAdIs, User Exits, and enhancement spots.

Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA clean-core principles and extension model (SAP BTP, RAP, CAP).

Hands-on experience with SAP integration technologies: IDocs, ALE, RFC, REST/SOAP APIs, and event-based architectures.

Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development is an asset.

Familiarity with CI/CD tooling, gCTS, and transport management in SAP landscapes.

Experience with Ariba, High Radius, or equivalent third-party SAP-integrated platforms is a strong advantage.

Ability to read and interpret functional specifications and translate them into high-quality technical designs.

Consumer Products or FMCG industry experience strongly preferred.

Soft Skills & Leadership

Strong oral and written communication skills; able to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Collaborative team player with experience working in cross-functional environments spanning technology, business, and design.

High degree of initiative, problem-solving ability, and resilience in navigating complex and ambiguous delivery environments.
