The Opportunity

We are looking

for a Frontend Engineer to build reliable, scalable, and intuitive web

applications. You will develop user-facing features, strengthen our shared

frontend platform, and improve engineering practices across component

development, testing, code quality, and delivery.

You will work

closely with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and Lead Engineers

to translate product requirements into maintainable technical solutions. This

role is suited to an engineer who combines strong frontend fundamentals with

ownership, collaboration, and a focus on reusable architecture.

What You’ll Own & Drive

·      Build responsive, accessible,

and high-performance web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript, React,

Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.

·      Design, develop, and maintain

reusable UI components, shared libraries, and frontend platform capabilities.

·      Translate product requirements

and design specifications into clean, maintainable, and testable code.

·      Integrate frontend

applications with REST APIs and backend services, including robust loading,

validation, and error-handling flows.

·      Write and maintain unit,

integration, and end-to-end tests to improve application quality and release

confidence.

·      Improve frontend architecture,

state management, project structure, build tooling, and development workflows.

·      Establish and follow standards

for coding, documentation, automated code generation, pull requests, and peer

reviews.

·      Optimise applications for

performance, browser compatibility, accessibility, security, and responsive

behaviour.

·      Identify and address technical

debt while balancing feature delivery and long-term maintainability.

·      Participate in technical

design, estimation, sprint planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and

production support.

·      Collaborate with and support

other engineers through reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.

·      Contribute to rapid prototypes

and proof-of-concepts when evaluating new technologies or product ideas.

Core Skills Required

·       At least 2 years of

professional frontend development experience.

·       Ability to understand

requirements, break down work, estimate effort, and communicate risks clearly.

·       Strong problem-solving,

ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

·       Ability to deliver

independently while working effectively with Product, Design, Backend, and

Engineering teams.

·       Good written and verbal

communication skills.

·       Strong proficiency in JavaScript

or TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, HTML5, and CSS3.

·       Solid understanding of React

component design, hooks, state management, routing, and modern rendering

patterns.

·       Experience integrating web

applications with REST APIs and asynchronous data flows.

·       Experience with frontend

testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

·       Working knowledge of Git, pull

requests, code reviews, package managers, and modern frontend build tools.

·       Good understanding of

responsive design, web accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, security,

and performance optimisation.

·       Experience writing modular,

reusable, maintainable, and well-documented frontend code.
