Full job description

The incumbent shall be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling fabrication activities of boiler pressure parts to ensure on-time project execution and customer satisfaction. The role involves preparation of production plans, material planning, capacity assessment, progress tracking, and coordination with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Production, Stores, and Project teams for seamless manufacturing operations.

The position will oversee fabrication activities related to headers, coils, wall panels, drums, piping systems, and other pressure parts, ensuring efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and welding resources. The incumbent shall monitor work-in-progress, identify production constraints, and drive corrective actions to maintain adherence to project schedules and delivery commitments.

Additionally, the role is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards such as ASME and IBR, maintaining fabrication documentation, monitoring key performance indicators, and providing timely MIS reports to management for effective decision-making. The incumbent shall actively contribute to productivity improvement, resource optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication operations.
