Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor OSD packing machines such as blister packing, bottle packing, carton packing, and labeling machines.

Perform line clearance before and after batch activities as per SOP.

Ensure packing activities are carried out according to BMR/BPR and cGMP requirements.

Conduct in-process checks and maintain production records accurately.

Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, and Production teams for smooth batch execution.

Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns or deviations to supervisors.

Ensure proper reconciliation of packing materials and finished goods.

Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the packing area.

Follow safety procedures, GMP guidelines, and company policies.

Support validation, qualification, and audit activities as required.

Educational Qualification

B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc / Diploma in Pharmacy or relevant qualification.

Experience

Operator: 01 to 05 years of experience in OSD packing operations.

Officer / Senior Officer : 02 to 06 years of experience in OSD packing within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, SOPs, and pharmaceutical packing processes.

Experience handling blister, bottle packing, and serialization systems.

Good documentation and record-keeping skills.

Ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.

Teamwork and communication skills.
