Business Unit: Ahmedabad Power Distribution
Role & responsibilities
Contract Labour Management
End to end contract labour management
Monitor contractor deployment, attendance, wage payments, PF, ESI, bonus, and statutory remittances.
Ensure compliance with CLRA and labour-related statutory requirements.
Conduct periodic audits of labour contractors and vendor compliance.
Maintain contractor licenses, registrations, agreements, and labour records.
Verify contractor bills and manpower deployment reports.
Coordinate with user department for manpower planning.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and welfare facilities for contract employees
HR Operations
Managing the entire bouquet of employee benefits.
Ensuring adherence to labour laws and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Addressing grievances, fostering positive workplace relationships and maintaining a harmonious workplace environment
Maintaining employee records, contracts, agreements and compliance documentation
Manage overall HR Operations for Business Unit
Industrial Relations & Compliance
Maintain compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
Responsible for HR Audits and risk mitigation strategies at a unit level.
Manage industrial relations at a zonal level, ensuring harmonious labour relations.
Ensure compliance with Indian Labour Laws including Shops & Establishments Act, Industrial Disputes Act.
Liaise with government bodies, unions, and legal advisors to mitigate risks and resolve disputes at a business unit level
Maintaining harmonious relationships with union and unionized category
Develop strong intelligence for proactive management inputs
AI & Digitalization
Alignment of HR technology projects with business objectives
Develop and monitor HR analytics & dashboards
Train HR team members and stakeholders on prescribed digital platforms
Explore and implement HR Digitalization options for ease of HR operations
Optimization of existing processes creating a robust and end-user friendly experience
Coordination with digital partners and vendors for effective implementation of various digital initiatives
Preferred candidate profile
MBA-HR/MSW/MLW/MHRM/MHRD 2 Years Full Time.
15-18 years experience in HR with emphasis on HR Operations, HR Compliance, Industrial Relations & Contract Labour Management
Expert on overall HR Operations
Well versed on labour law & good exposure on Industrial Relations.
Analytical and process-oriented mindset with good problem-solving capabilities
Demonstrates confidence in taking decisions & can take tough decisions
Tech-savvy and adaptive to the new age technology / digitization of processes
Should possess good interpersonal and communication skills
