Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Lead the complete lifecycle of healthcare infrastructure projects from concept to commissioning.Develop project execution strategies, master schedules, budgets, and resource plans.Drive project delivery in alignment with approved timelines, cost parameters, and quality standards.Monitor progress through project management tools and corrective action plans.Ensure successful handover of facilities for operational readiness.

Healthcare Facility Development

Manage design, construction, fit-outs, medical equipment planning, and commissioning of hospitals and healthcare facilities.Coordinate with architects, healthcare planners, MEP consultants, PMC teams, and clinical stakeholders.Ensure compliance with NABH, JCI, fire, environmental, and healthcare infrastructure standards.Integrate clinical workflow requirements into facility planning and design.

Project Governance & Stakeholder Management

Provide regular project updates to senior leadership and steering committees.Manage relationships with consultants, vendors, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders.Lead project review meetings and ensure closure of critical risks and issues.Drive decision-making through effective project reporting and dashboards.

Cost & Contract Management

Monitor project budgets, CAPEX utilization, change orders, and financial performance.Ensure effective contract administration, vendor performance management, and claim resolution.Identify value engineering opportunities and cost optimization initiatives.Review and approve project invoices, milestones, and contractor payments.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to project quality standards and safety requirements.Drive implementation of HSE policies across all project sites.Monitor compliance with local building regulations, healthcare regulations, and statutory approvals.Ensure successful audits and certifications required for healthcare facilities.

Medical Equipment & Technology Integration

Coordinate medical equipment planning, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.Ensure seamless integration of healthcare technology systems including HIS, EMR, nurse call systems, BMS, security, and smart hospital infrastructure.Collaborate with clinical and biomedical teams for operational readiness.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor project management teams, engineers, planners, and site execution teams.Develop a high-performance project culture focused on accountability, quality, and delivery excellence.Build internal capabilities in healthcare project management and infrastructure development.
