Full job description

Lead implementation of Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) programs across Transmission projects and O&M sites.Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification initiatives.Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and company policies.Drive incident investigations, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).Promote Zero Harm culture through proactive safety interventions and continuous improvement programs.Implement Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) initiatives and safety awareness campaigns.Monitor contractor safety performance and ensure compliance with contractual safety requirements.Oversee PPE compliance, Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, and emergency preparedness programs.Coordinate with project teams, O&M functions, government authorities, and external stakeholders on safety matters.Deliver safety training, mentoring, and competency development programs for site personnel.Support safe execution of transmission line and substation projects across multiple locations.Drive safety governance, reporting, compliance monitoring, and risk mitigation strategies.

Work Experience (Range of years):

10-15 years’ experience of working in fire Safety functions in large size power plants including transmission in O&M and project.At least two years of experience in corporate office of transmission / power business.Conduct safety inspections and assessment in project & operational locations of transmission set up pan India.Monitor the implementation level, follow up and get execution at site with line function. Be a resource person / facilitate for safe project and O&M of transmission.
