Role Description The Assistant Manager Human Resources – Talent Acquisition role at bigbasket is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities, including workforce planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating selection processes for various functions and levels. The Assistant Manager will partner with business stakeholders to understand hiring needs, define job requirements, and ensure timely and high-quality talent acquisition aligned with organizational goals. Day-to-day tasks include managing talent pipelines, leveraging multiple sourcing channels, maintaining recruitment metrics, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The role also involves supporting employer branding initiatives, ensuring adherence to DEI and HR policies, and contributing to continuous improvement in hiring processes and tools.

Qualifications

Strong talent acquisition and recruitment skills, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate pipeline management.Experience in stakeholder management, workforce planning, and aligning hiring strategies with business requirements.Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, HRIS tools, and use of digital platforms and social media for recruitment.Knowledge of HR best practices, DEI principles, labor regulations, and ethical hiring standards.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal teams.Strong organizational and analytical abilities, including experience tracking recruitment metrics and using data for decision-making.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a postgraduate HR qualification or MBA in HR is an advantage.Prior experience in talent acquisition or HR roles, preferably in fast-paced retail, e-commerce, or large workforce environments.
