Job Description
Maintain and clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest Fairmont standards, ensuring all spaces are immaculate and welcomingProvide exceptional guest service by responding promptly to guest requests, special needs, and inquiries with professionalism and courtesyInspect rooms upon completion of cleaning to verify quality standards, attention to detail, and compliance with property specificationsManage and organize housekeeping supplies and inventory, reporting low stock levels and maintaining efficient supply usageCollaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize room assignments and meet daily cleaning schedulesReport maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to supervisory staff immediately for prompt resolutionFollow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipmentCommunicate effectively with guests and colleagues in a professional manner, maintaining discretion and confidentialityAssist with special projects, deep cleaning initiatives, and seasonal maintenance tasks as assignedMaintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative team environment that prioritizes guest satisfaction
Qualifications
**Required Qualifications:**
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or guest service experience in a hospitality settingAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishPhysical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform repetitive tasksFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standardsAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and safety protocols
