Job Description
**Key Responsibilities:**
Oversee daily security operations and maintain a safe environment for guests, staff, and property assetsSupervise and train security personnel, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry best practicesMonitor surveillance systems, access control points, and security equipment to identify potential vulnerabilitiesRespond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns whilst maintaining professional composureConduct regular security patrols throughout the property, including guest areas, back-of-house, and perimeter zonesPrepare comprehensive incident reports and maintain detailed security documentation for management reviewCoordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical situationsConduct security risk assessments and recommend preventative measures to enhance property protectionEnsure compliance with all security protocols, safety regulations, and hotel standard operating proceduresManage access control systems, key distribution, and visitor management proceduresProvide security briefings and updates to senior management and relevant departmentsInvestigate security breaches, theft, or suspicious activities and implement corrective actionsMaintain confidentiality regarding sensitive security matters and guest information
Qualifications
**Required Qualifications:**
Minimum 3-5 years of professional security experience, preferably in a luxury hospitality or high-end property environmentProven supervisory or management experience with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate security teamsStrong knowledge of security systems, access control technologies, and surveillance equipmentExcellent incident response and crisis management capabilities with sound decision-making under pressureComprehensive understanding of security protocols, health and safety regulations, and hotel operational standardsProficiency in security documentation, report writing, and record-keeping proceduresValid security licence or certification as required by local and national regulationsStrong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with law enforcement and emergency servicesAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
